Jennifer Boys (Dip. C.H., MUR) trained as a herbalist for 4 years with leading American herbalist, Michael Tierra, learning a mix of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western and Native American herbal tradition and skills.

Jenny spent 2 years as the herbalist for the Fountain Centre, a holistic unit within the Oncology department of the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. She has completed a certificated course at the Bristol Cancer Help Centre. She runs workshops for cancer patients for the charity, New Approaches to Cancer. Jenny is an adult education tutor for Runnymede Adult Education Institute, as well as giving lectures around the country.

Since Jenny took over Optimum Health ten years ago, the company has specialised in organic herbal products as well as related supplements.
